Our Services

Support can look different for everyone. It depends on who you are, who the support is for, and what’s happening right now.

So, who is the support for?

Sometimes the person who needs support isn't the person who first reaches out. Whether you're looking for support for a yourself, a child, a family or the people around them, there's a few different ways we can work together.

Things that I believe -

A few things that guide the way I work; my who, what and why.

Every child deserves the right to be more than what has happened to, with or around them.

Our experiences shape us, but they don't have to define everything that comes next.

Growth is possible, even when the past has been hard.

Parenting may not come with a road map, but that doesn't mean you're traversing it alone.

Parenting isn't about having all of the answers.

Sometimes, having someone alongside you can make all the difference..

Yes, your child is doing life for the first time — but don't forget that you are, too.

You can't expect to get it 'right' every time.

You deserve the same grace you're learning to give them.

Sometimes, supporting the child starts with supporting the people around them.

When we feel equipped, we have more to offer.

Learning and connection can strengthen the whole village.

Nope! You’re welcome to get in touch directly - you don’t need a referral to start a conversation. If you're unsure whether The Berry Beginning is the right fit for you or your family, we can talk about what you're looking for and explore the next steps together.

Once you reach out, we'll start with a conversation. This gives us a chance to talk about what has brought you here, what you're hoping for, and whether The Berry Beginning feels like the right fit. From there, we'll discuss the most appropriate next steps and how we might work together.

Funding may be available through a range of sources, depending on your circumstances. The Berry Beginning can support NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed, and may also be able to liaise with funding bodies such as DFFH, Victims of Crime, TAC, Employee Assistance Programs and WorkCover.

Please note that The Berry Beginning is not currently able to offer Medicare-subsidised appointments under a Mental Health Care Plan.

If you're seeking funding through another agency, we can help clarify what may be available before services begin, so you have a clear understanding of any costs involved.
